Dr. Daniel L. Cassidy, Jr.DMD
Dr. Daniel L. Cassidy, Jr. is a compassionate general dentist who brings a personal touch and advanced skillset to the Hilton Head community. Originally from Macon, Georgia, Dr. Cassidy grew up with dentistry woven into his upbringing, ultimately inspiring his own career rooted in patient-centered values. He received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University and completed his dental education at the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta.
Driven to enhance both his clinical and surgical abilities, Dr. Cassidy went on to complete a General Practice Residency in Augusta, where he gained in-depth experience in surgical implant placement, IV conscious sedation, and comprehensive restorative procedures such as full-mouth rehabilitation. His dedication to continuing education led to his appointment as a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), a distinction that underlines his proficiency in implantology.
Before relocating to Hilton Head, Dr. Cassidy spent five years serving patients as an associate dentist in Conway, South Carolina. There, he honed his passion for helping individuals through every stage of life, developing a consistent, trusted approach to ongoing dental care for patients of all ages.
Dr. Cassidy is honored to bring this same level of care to patients across Hilton Head Island and the surrounding communities. Whether you're in need of preventive maintenance, a restorative treatment plan, or a long-term partner in oral health, Dr. Cassidy is deeply committed to building lasting relationships and delivering excellence in every aspect of care.
Outside the office, you'll find Dr. Cassidy spending quality time with his wife, Clara, and their young son, Luc. He enjoys playing golf, barbecuing, working out, and cheering on LSU football — hobbies that speak to his approachable, down-to-earth personality patients truly appreciate.
